PROMO COMING SOON
Feature length documentary exploring the lives and aspirations of people forcefully displaced from their country of birth.
First of multiple feature-length, observational documentaries exploring the lives of refugees originating from camps in Dunkirk and Calais, their backgrounds, aspirations and prospects told by them in their own words.
Rather than the shared experience of the journey from home to camp we will focus on individual experiences. We want to recall positive memories of childhood and home more than anything else. Non sync dialogue with complex sound design and minimal score. It will be an immersive and often gruelling experience for the audience. The spectacle and drama of cinema combined with the grim reality, tedium and banality of migrant life in an ever more paranoid, harsh, bureaucratic and xenophobic Europe.
